Google AdSense and AdMob block ads on sites with fraudulent traffic

Google rolled out an update that will prevent advertising costs for invalid traffic. The search engine has launched new machine learning models that will block clicks or ad displays on AdSense and AdMob if suspicious activity or fraud is detected on publisher sites.

An updated protection system will help advertisers not spend the budget on showing ads to bots instead of real users.

Publishers affected by this change will receive a notification in the user interface that the number of advertisements to display is limited. There, Google will provide recommendations to address this limitation.
Recall that earlier it became known that Google AdSense will remove  experiments related to the settings of ad units that are no longer supported.
