Gil Gildner of Discosloth, an SEM agency, posted a screenshot from Google who emailed his client directly and denied the request for ad automation to be removed that his agency thought was detrimental to his clients' budget and campaign goals.

Kirk Williams posted on twitter "Incredible situation. A good agency is a strong supporter of @GoogleAds and calls them out negatively to the customer because they have strategically determined that the use of specific automation needs must be stopped immediately."
Think about it – this is just not right and Google should not do this. Maybe Google thought this company had no agency? But still, to refuse the request to remove Google Ads automation? Really?
We have seen Google try several times over the years to trick advertising agency customers. Is this one of those tactics?
