Google is still working on evergreen GoogleBot support for tools

Back in May, three months ago, Google released the evergreen GoogleBot. GoogleBot is basically the same version as your version of Chrome, which gives Google more options to crawl and open your webpage. But the tools, tools in the Google Search Console and other tools still don't use the always green GoogleBot.

Google tested it hard in mid-June, but the tools still don't support the always green GoogleBot.

Google's Martin Splitt said recently twitter that it "should not be long" until it is released. It was three months ago, but hopefully we are almost there.

Here is his tweet:

So wait a minute, those tools – including the mobile-friendly tool, the rich results test, the URL inspection tool and other tools – should soon support the always green GoogleBot.
